To everyone ’s relievo , the trailer of the live actionThe Lion Kingseems to indicate it will almost be a moderately tight remake of the original animated movie . For those of us who adored theDisneyclassic , this is amazing news , because it mean the script wo n’t diverge so much that the narrative ends up changed . The report is staring as is !
But there are a sight of thing that the lively activeness now has a hazard to do better , in a world where special effect are good and things can be looked at and improved . sure as shooting , nothing is ever depart to beat the nostalgia factor of the original , but these thing could actually be ameliorate on .
Or at least , we hope so .
The Stampede
The stampede is one of the most chilling scenes in the movie . Even though we do it what ’s pass to happen and that Simba is n’t going to be trampled to expiry , it still manages to be heart - stopping — the scope medicine , the spirit on Simba ’s human face , and the sheer affright of Mufasa as he jump down and Scar paces and prowls above him .
The fact we all love how this ends intend that the live action movie will have the chance to recreate that tenseness but also , with much better special event . Reliving this scene is not live to be easy knowing what comes at the end of it …
The Death Of Mufasa
Every sports fan of this movie can universally gibe that those who can determine Mufasa ’s death without exclaim do n’t have a psyche . Fact .
This is a great thing for Disney , who will be capable to storm up the emotion in this scene and do their best to make everyone cry at the betrayal byhis comrade . And while people do n’t usually desire to be sitting in the movie theater as a teary kettle of fish , judge to pull themselves together , they should by all odds be able to make one hell of an aroused impact on the audience .
Even if they can make this view justas goodas the original , there wo n’t be a teetotal eye in the elbow room .
The Musical Voice Of Nala
Nala ’s previous voice was great . The song were beautiful , and her vox was arresting .
But now she ’s being voice by Beyonce .
Whether you ’re a Beyonce fan or not , it ’s hard to refuse that her voice is dead incredible and so expressive that she ’s going to do an amazing Book of Job as Nala . Although the songs have n’t been confirmed yet , we live that Disney would be stupid not to use Beyonce ’s phonation as often as possible throughout the movie , which think that Nala ’s melodic voice is believably going to be downright intimation - pickings this go around .
They could not have chosen a better vocalism for Nala .
And Simba And Nala’s Relationship
Although Simba and Nala are an iconic Disney major power duet , we actually did n’t see very much of them throughout the original movie . So maybe we ’ll see a little more , since it ’s not exactly a shot - for - shot remake , if only because … well , Beyonce .
And no one would be let down to see more of Simba and Nala . They ’re almost the distinctive making love story , go from claim that they ’re just supporter to blossoming into something more . She came looking for him , had faith in him when no one else did , and she drove him to recapture his place as king .
If they do add up scene , please be Simba and Nala - base scenes .
Timon And Pumbaa’s Jokes
Despite being an recreate movie , it ’s a mostly serious and dark plot , with kinslaying , politics , and treason at the heart of it all . But there are two grapheme who furnish some light relief when Simba runs into them — Timon and Pumbaa .
Hopefully , the writer have come up with some great joke for these two because amongst the stampede , the death of Mufasa , and all of the other tragic moments this movie will land , we ’re hold up to need some amusing relief and they ’re the complete way to do it . The writer for sure wo n’t drop the opportunity to make their interview express mirth , and they should be able to do it well .
The Heart-Breaking Moments With Sarabi
Another few moments that merit more tending are the moments between Simba and his mother . The moment at the first of the movie are momentary and fun , with Simba rebelling healthily against his mother . But when he return to Pride Rock , we realize that his mother has thought him deadened all this meter ; that he die around the same metre as Mufasa , and she was leave all alone . She then briefly guess he murdered Mufasa when Scar guilts him into saying so .
The look they share could definitely use some attending , even if they ’re just played up rather than having scenes bestow . Disney will sure as shooting await back on this and realize so . Any chance to hug on the consultation ’s heartstrings more , right ?
Simba’s Transformation
The Lion Kinghas one scene that will just plain look cool in CGI rather than 2D animation : Simba ’s transformation .
There ’s a scene where he ’s walking with Timon and Pumba and we see him go from a lion cub to an adolescent lion to a fully grown male all in a few seconds . It ’s a childlike conversion , yet so muscular the first time around because of the little infant we now have a go at it becomes this strong male , future nous of his pride .
Hopefully , this scene will be let in but with the effects cinema has now … Wow . This scene will be breathtaking .
The Creepiness Of The Hyenas
Another thing that will be more impactful in CGI : the hyaena .
They ’re creepy enough in 2D spiritedness . Although they have their singular moments , they ’re predators who make for Scar and when they encircle around Simba , when they tag him with Nala , it ’s downright dread .
There ’s a real chance to give this even more tension in CGI , when the spiritedness of them does n’t just look silly . They could almost look like repugnance characters if Disney manages to do this right .
This picture show will be gear towards kids , but it might have some slenderly more adult visuals too because Disney will certainly need to cater to those who grew up with the motion picture . It wo n’t get too dark , but hyenas could definitely be shivery .
The Ruined Pridelands
And the last affair that will simply look respectable because of the visuals : Pride Rock near the end of the moving-picture show .
When Simba walk back to Pride Rock after presumably years of being forth , the place has been ruined because Scar is n’t taking care of it . There are skeletons everywhere , and it ’s dry out out . The lions have had no food , and it looks a snatch like a post - revelatory wasteland .
This will be much more haunting in the live action because the visuals will be so much good . The animated movie has the power to send chills down our thorn during this scene , so surely the live military action will too .
Simba’s Walk Up Pride Rock?
Speaking of chills — remember Simba ’s walk up Pride Rock ? It ’s hard to forget .
With the music play , his paw purposefully strike the earth with each step , Simba walks to the top of the rock with the lions watching him . When he reaches the peak , he roars , and is swallow as king while Mufasa looks down on him .
It ’s a beautiful , breath - taking scenery . peradventure the nostalgia means it will only be better in the animate movie , but we can hope and pray that the young remake does just as dependable a Book of Job on this part , even if it ’s not whole possible to do well .
