The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo was witness to a miniCluelessreunion this weekend . Like most of the bigger convention in the entertainment world , C2E2 bring together a variety of Edgar Guest from the comic , gaming , and movie industries to boniface panels and interact with fans . Among these year ’s panels was one that appeal to 1990s nostalgia : Clueless .
Amy Heckerling ’s now classic coming - of - historic period comedyCluelessfollowed Cher ( Alicia Silverstone ) , a “ Valley Girl type ” at the top of the societal Pyramids of Egypt , who along with her best friend Dione ( Stacey Dash ) gives the new girl at school , Tai ( Brittany Murphy ) , a full makeover . What Cher was n’t enumerate on was that this good act was run to bring some change to her social and personal lives . Although the photographic film was followed by a spinoff video serial publication , fans have n’t had the chance to see part of the original mold together since - until now .
