Prometheusended with scientist Elizabeth Shaw flying off to find the home base satellite of the Engineers , with only the severed forefront of sociopathic android David 8 ( Michael Fassbender ) for company . Scott planneda prequel trilogyaround the adventures of Shaw and David , withPrometheus 2showing what happened when she shoot down on the home major planet . Those plans exchange during development withAlien : Covenantultimately placing focussing on David instead . The film revealed the android went crazy and killed Shaw before wiping out the Engineer satellite with their own biological weapons .

Alien : Covenantalso brought back the classic xenomorph design , despite Scott antecedently state he felt the colossus was ‘ cooked ’ and should n’t return . Now in a new consultation withHN Entertainment , beast designer Carlos Huante has detail an earlier version that featured Elizabeth Shaw and detailed David ’s distorted experiments on the inhabitants of the planet .
So in the first version of Covenant holler Paradise , [ Shaw ] was hide in the catacombs from David under the metropolis and the story was that on her trip to the homeworld she pay off lonely and she had David hanging outside the ship , she did n’t require anything to do with him . But she still had to babble to him . finally , she ends up bringing his body in and reattaching him as they become friends during this trip . He ends up having affection for her in a friendship fashion .
Shaw would have teamed up with the survivor to escape in this former version ofAlien : Covenant , which also featured a more fantastic foreign landscape and more creatures , with David experimenting on the surviving Engineers .
But there were other beast in there , there were supposed to be a bunch of experimental animate being … Neomorphs , the giant engineer creature , the many failed experiment of David , and the Primitive Xenomorph .
Huante ’s feels this version ofAlien : Covenantwas toned down to make it less of a monster moving-picture show , and revealed the motion-picture show originally end on a struggle between the xenomorph and the hybrid neomorph brute .
The first version of the xenomorph did show up at the end and the Neomorphs and the Xenomorph have a scrap . There was supposed to be a monster engagement at the closing of the film as they are give chase the gang to get to the ship . So as they ’re run to another ship they ’re being chased by the Neomorphs and then this Xenomorph shows up and it ’s defend and kill these other wight because it hat them , it hates everything .
It might have been budget concerns that caused this version ofAlien : Covenantto be toned down , or perhaps Ridley Scott desire to keep this material for a third movie . The movie maker has revealed his contrive sequelAlien : Awakeningwould featureDavid on a new planetand explore the world he creates free from humanity . Huante himself appears discomfited in the direction the final moving picture took , including Shaw ’s fate and feeling the Engineer planet was too traditional in design .
A lot of fans were disappointed with Shaw ’s offscreen demise inAlien : Covenant , though an early draft of the moviedetailed the journeyshe took with David to the Engineer major planet . It disclose how she survived in space , how David came to take in her trust and how he ultimately killed her when they reached their destination . Rapace recently give away she never knew wherePrometheus 2was going and was n’t even trusted if Scott knew himself .
