author and director David Ayer has shared the first feel of a heavily tattooed Shia LeBeouf , who ’s set to star in Ayer ’s upcoming granulose crime thrillerTax Collector . revenue enhancement Collectorwas announce back in June , and while item about the plot of ground and character have remained under wraps , it has been reported that Ayer is compose , directing , and grow the film , with LeBeouf and Bobby Soto attached to star .
The film is expected to take primarily in Los Angeles this summer . It will be based on a playscript written by Chris Long , who ’s love for his work onMr . LeBeouf ’s accurate role in the film is unknown , but Ayer took to Twitter last nighttime to post a photo of the star in full makeup ( below ) - and the worker is almost unrecognisable . Sporting a buzz cut , smoking a cigarette , and wearing nothing but sunglasses , short , and boots , LeBeouf is almost totally covered in tattoos . While some are hard to make out , the most noticeable are the ones covering his trunk . There is what appear to be a woman with someone else in what is perchance antic makeup with the Logos " creeper " spelled out below them . There are also a pair of cartoon gloved workforce pointing at each other below that , and the entire piece is decorated with art such as peak and peacock plume .
LeBeouf also has a main road sign on his odd shoulder that reads " Route 071 " , and what looks like drawings of people on his legs just above the genu . He has tattoos on his digit as well that read " 071 gang " , which is belike connected to the " Route 071 " shoulder tattoo , and what calculate like the word " Battlefield " . To top it all off , the thespian is also wearing several necklaces , with one of them possibly being a heel tag of some kind . What ’s interesting is that this first look intemperately resembles the first look DC fans got for Jared Leto ’s Joker three years ago for Ayer’sSuicide Squad . But what it proves is that the filmmaker is going back to its gritty ascendent with his new motion-picture show .
LeBeouf has been going through a kind of transformation these past few years . go out his Disney andTransformersfame behind , he ’s become know for his often bizarre and challenging operation art . He ’s also been contract on function in smaller and more main films such asBorg vs McEnroe , American Honey , andMan Down .
