Hennig ’s interpretation of Drake ’s brother Sam was certainly a little moment edgier compared to the one we got inUncharted 4 . It did seem that Hennig wanted Drake to have to accommodate his past times before he and Sam worked together properly , which would have been a different position for the plot ’s write up . Hennig also submit that the team behindUncharted 4made some additions after she had left that she had n’t considered for the game :
" So all the beats , if you look at the chapter musical rhythm - with the exception of we did n’t have the flashback to his childhood and then we did n’t have the Nadine character - but just look at the break by break that sorted the chapters … that was all while I was there . "
It ’s interesting that Hennig specifically mention that Nadine was n’t one of her lineament . Nadine come under critique for being a black woman portrayed by a white char in - biz . The quality was also divisive outside of that fact , and was a talking point for many whenUncharted 4first released .
Luckily , we do n’t have to long for an alternate world where Hennig was still at Naughty Dog for the pass completion of the game . Uncharted 4was great , a fitting ending to the story of Nathan Drake if that ’s how it place upright . Still , though , it ’s fascinating to get a coup d’oeil into what it might have look like had a brilliant mind like Hennig ’s stay on add-in for the entirety of its growth .
