Directed by Peyton Reed , Ant - Man and the Waspsees its titulary hoagy going on a rescue delegation to try and find Hope ’s female parent , Janet van Dyne , in the Quantum Realm , while also dealing with the unexampled threat of avillain who can take the air through wall : Ghost .
Although we see the Wasp costume inAnt - Man ’s post - credits scene , this movie marks the first time we ’ll actually see it in action - which , for Disney , think of another golden merchandising opportunity .
