Kevin Feige is the man who has usher in the Marvel era of superhero plastic film . He has been a manufacturer on all of Marvel Studios movies . Screen Rant : Yeah . First of all , this movie is fantastic . I had so much playfulness with it . Let me tell you right now , I consider the Wasp is plausibly my favourite superhero .
Kevin Feige : Wow , wow .
Screen Rant : Evangeline really knocks it out of the parkland .
Kevin Feige : Yes .
Screen Rant : How long was this idea floating around in your forefront with the Ghost and Sonny Burch in particular ? Those are n’t characters that I would normally think like , oh , wow , that ’s go to be the next villain .
Kevin Feige : Yeah . Well , the notion of Wasp obviously was , from the very start and from the start and the first movie . Someone said the first flick is about the fact that she should be the Wasp .
Screen Rant : Right .
Kevin Feige : And , her saying , it ’s about damn time . That was the first premise of it . The whim of those villains in particular was later , number about during the development mental process with our producer Steven Broussard and of form Peyton Reed and our writers trying to find baddie that were not … we knew this movie was come right after Infinity War and the whole opinion of this movie was to be fun and to be family and to be much lighter in tone . Kevin Feige : That was the idea .

One thing I have to require you because I remember Randall Park was awing , knocked it out of the park , no pun mean . He was great , and Jimmy Woo ’s character , him and Paul Rudd ’s banter . Wonderful . When are we ever go to get the Agents of Atlas whirl - off or Marvel short . I ’ve got to see more of Randall Park .
Kevin Feige : It would be great , it would be slap-up . He ’s amazing , and he defeat every scene he was in . We maintain putting him in more and more and more scenes , especially those prospect with he and Paul . He ’s keen . It would be great to see Jimmy Woo again .
Screen Rant : The thing that I lie with about all these group of fictitious character is the family aspect of it . Cassie … the through pipeline throughout this … one matter I love about Ant - Man just in general is that he ’s not a superhero out of like catastrophe or anything like that . He ’s just there to help his friends and help his family . I really love that about him . That through line that he has with Cassie in the family plot , I think was brilliant . It always is great . It ’s the nub of the report . But , Cassie does portend this kind of like , I need to be his cooperator type thing . Do you think that we ’ll ever get the Young Avengers because Cassie and Stature , that goes hand in manus .
Kevin Feige : We love that Cassie in this picture in particular is inhale by her male parent , wants to do good . Certainly , we ’re following that tendency . Where , when , how , we ’ll see , but I consider it would be cool .
Screen Rant : Tessa Thompson spoke a niggling second about wanting an all female Avengers . After watching Evangeline Lily , of line , I ’m so happy that it ’s Ant - Man and the Waspand she ’s not a sidekick . She ’s at the heart , head of the movie , and I bonk that . How much closer are we to that possibility ? Captain Marvel ’s right around the corner and I ca n’t await for that .
Kevin Feige : Captain Marvel finishes film in two weeks . We ’re being cagey about anything post Avengers 4 .
Screen Rant : Sure .
Kevin Feige : Although Tom Holland just bollocks something yesterday .
Screen Rant : I ensure that .
Kevin Feige : But , as the plan go forward I believe frankly we ’ll be … you bed , finally I think we ’re sound to reach a time where it ’s not just … listen , it would be awful to see all of our female characters the mode we have seen … most , never all male , but primarily male . I think we ’re go to the stage soon where we have so many great distaff characters that those are just our torpedo as oppose to when are they all distaff , all male person . It ’s just the Marvel hero , more than half of which will be cleaning lady .
Screen Rant : Which I love . I talked to Michael Douglas yesterday and he had mentioned that he would love to do a prequel , Hank Pym in his prime story . He said he would love to do it . Any hazard that could be a theory , at least an inkling of a possibility ?
Kevin Feige : The sport thing about make believe these movies and have got this interlink creation is that almost anything is an inkling of a possibility . Whether that ’s a franchise on its own , a single film on its own , a one - guesswork as you mention , a view in another movie , it ’s all possible .

Kevin Feige : It ’s all possible .
Screen Rant : Talking about , you note Tom Holland and I think is it , Far From Home?Far From Home . Spider - Man : Far From Home . That insinuates . There ’s been a good deal of hearsay and speculation about a battlefield trip or taking place a lot in Europe . What is the inspiration behind that ? Another one of those untested avenger was Kate Bishop . I love Kate Bishop because I know the Hawkeye character . There ’s been a lot of rumor that we could get seeing Kate Bishop . Is that on the tabular array as well ?
Kevin Feige : It ’s one of those inklings of possibleness post Avengers 4 . There will be a clock time shortly after Avengers 4 when we annunciate what we show .
Screen ranting : When are we getting that title revealed ? I almost ask it here a footling spot , but we didn’t-
Kevin Feige : I think it will be a little while longer .
Screen Rant : Little while longer ?
Kevin Feige : Yeah .
Screen Rant : Okay , coolheaded . Externals is also a matter , it ’s a enceinte deal . Speaking of which , I know that Jack Kirby when he did the Eternals , good-for-nothing . I messed that up . Jack Kirby tied a trivial routine into the Greek mythology . I did n’t really actualise that until recently with Hercules and a few of the other characters . Is that something that you would kind of like bring to the tabular array with that picture ?
Kevin Feige : Well , one of the cool thing about that property and what Jack Kirby did with it and what ’s been done with it in late years is it does bind into they ’re called Eternals , they ’ve been around for a long time . Screen Rant : Yeah . With that character because I love he was a part of your original programme , is that right , like the original plan for start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ? At least one of the first characters ?
Kevin Feige : They both were . Ant - Man and Wasp were .
Screen Rant : Oh really ?
Kevin Feige : They were in large part because we had a huge , I ’ve cite this in the past times , we had a vast poster on the paries that traveled with us from office to office as we kept acquire as Marvel Studios of Avengers phone number one .
Screen Rant : Oh , wow .

Kevin Feige : Right .
Screen Rant : Is Power Pack still in the works ? I heard that … is it Jonathan Schwartz , the producer , was perhaps sequester to it somehow ?
Kevin Feige : Jonathan Schwartz is currently working on-
Screen Rant : Captain Marvel , right ?
Kevin Feige : … Captain Marvel . Exactly . He works with us at Marvel Studios so he ’s been like sort of attached . It does n’t operate like that . Power Pack is a property that we ’ve been interested in for a long meter . For many years because we wanted to do something for folk , something that ’s a small younger , Ant - Man has kind of become that dealership , certainly with Ant - Man and the Wasp , but Power Pack still is one of the many things that we talk about , would n’t it be fun to do someday ?
Screen Rant : Yeah , I mean , land me back to my dentist ’s office . One affair that I in reality love about you and I really esteem about you is that you ’re very supporting of other studio . You ’ve enjoin in the past with Warner Brothers and DC that you really desire to see them succeed because I think it ’s better as a fan , me in person , when you get … listen , this is me living my dream .
