There ’s batch of built - in intrigue with them alone , as Rey is positioned to be a new Jedi leader , Kylo has taken his place as Supreme Leader of the First Order , and Poe and Finn have become more entrenched in the Resistance . The rest of the film ’s expansive plaster cast also has fascinated devotee too , withLuke Skywalker ( Mark Hamill ) returningin some form and old footage being used to add backCarrie Fisher one more time as Leia .

So , when Russell made an appearance onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert , the emcee - who is a majorStar Warsfan - tried to get some details about the movie from her . She would n’t reveal the title or sustain any of Colbert ’s theory , but she did comment on her mysterious character reference ’s tone by saying,“I do have the coolest costume , I will say that . "
Russell is understandably hesitating to give any further details onStar Wars 9 , and her lack of describing the look of her character reference will only leave behind fan wondering what she depend like even more . Almost like a shot after she was cast in the office , speculation quickly work to need her to run a dark side Force substance abuser or even a member of the Knights of Ren . There ’s also been some uncorroborated rumors floating around that her character is a bounty hunter .
