The Marvel Universe has exploded intotheir monumental War of The Realms comic event … and Thor ’s baby Angela just got drafted , with her Asgardians of the Galaxy squad behind her .
We ’ve get the sole prevue of that recruitment , coming next week inAsgardians of the Galaxy # 8 . Up until the previous offspring , Angela and the squad had been hunt down Nebula to prevent her from unleashing a nightmare army of the United States Army upon the universe . But when Heimdall comes call with word of a cosmic war breaking out on Earth , Angela wo n’t have any time to rest up . That will suit her just fine . The residue of the Asgardians team ? We ’re … not so sure .
Technically we ’re assuming that Angela will agree to come with Heimdall , and join the defense lawyers of Midgard . But if the all - seeing watchman of Asgard has seen all of theWar of The Realmsso far , as he take , then he ’s pass to have some frightful intelligence to break . And once Angela finds out that Malekith ’s attack hasalready killed Loki and her father Odin , the Dark Elf ’s forces wo n’t be able to take flight her steel fast enough . We do n’t get it on if Angela will actually be able-bodied to turn the tide of the battle , and keep Midgard from being the 10th , and final region to fall to Malekith . But if it ’s the last conflict there will ever be , she ’s sure not go to sit it out .

Heimdall ’s discovery of the Naglfar Beacon should n’t be dismissed just yet , since an army of every dead god would sure help in the coming fight ( like … a lot ) . The Avengers and heroes of Earth can be counted on to push until the end , and evenMarvel ’s translation of the Justice Leaguewill be slaying the forces of shadow to keep Midgard and its many refugee dependable . Angela and her Asgardians of the Galaxy could serve to tip the scales … but will it be enough ?
