This new plot line combine with everything else in Veronica Cale ’s history is proof that whenever the inevitableWonder Woman 3happens , Veronica Cale should be the lead opposite Gal Gadot ’s Diana .

Isadore was curse and the only way to save her was to let her live on Paradise Island with the rest of Wonder Woman ’s Amazon sister . Since Wilson ’s arc part though something mystical but terrible has happened to Paradise Island . All manner of mythical creatures andgods are invade the deadly realmwith no store of how they got there . The belief is that Themyscira , and everyone who lives there , has been destroyed .
Veronica , unsurprisingly , blames Wonder Woman for the supposed dying of her daughter . Diana call Veronica that Isadore would be safe but at the very least Veronica ’s girl is now missing . This tot up a very human and compelling angle to Veronica ’s vendetta against Wonder Woman . Veronica ’s problem with Wonder Woman is n’t just intellectual any longer it ’s personal .
Veronica ’s need and story make her a great baddie regardless . Yet she would satisfy a role that ’s sorely neglect within the DCEU . It ’s lawful that the cinematic universe does have Lex Luthor already in the form of Jesse Eisenberg ’s portrayal . However reception toEisenberg ’s Lex Luthorhas been , at best , motley . InBatman v. SupermanEisenberg was less playing Lex Luthor and acting more like a hyperactive and super intelligent millennial on a temper scene . The DCEU needs Lex or a Lex - case figure . Lex Luthor is valuable for more than just his iconic status as a villain . Lex believe he ’s the hero of the story even when he ’s trying to murder Superman . The DCEU needs a villain with that degree of conviction and Veronica could be the result . Veronica is everything Lex Luthor is and more with her own tragic backstory .
Another Wonder Woman motion picture is only hypothetical for now . Yet it does seem inevitable given thelarge boxwood spot numbersof the first picture and continuing excitement over Gal Gadot ’s characterization . Director Patty Jenkins even has idea for a third movie explaining that she recall the nextWonder Woman continuation will be set up in present day . MaybeKristen Wiig ’s Cheetahwill surviveWonder adult female 1984to wreak more havoc in Wonder Woman ’s living but Veronica Cale deserve her own cinematic adaptation as well .
